Andi Argast is a strategist, writer, and facilitator, and the Director of the Open Data Institute Toronto. At ODI Toronto, her research and work explores online advocacy, community engagement, and digital literacy, with a focus on how Canadian nonprofit organizations use technology for social change. She previously worked as a policy advisor, and has a Master of Information from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University.
Kejo Buchanan is a researcher, presenter and moderator of open data concepts for ODI Toronto initiatives. Kejo applies her community leadership, data management and analysis skills towards knowledge exchange, partnerships, solution finding and open data innovation. She is currently completing a Master of Library and Information Science with San Jose State University while contributing to local community projects and staying connected to international open efforts.
Bianca is the Founder and former Head of the Open Data Institute Toronto. She is an open government advocate with a dual background in technology and public engagement. She leads work on public sector technology policy for Canada at Dgen Network and is the co-founder of Tech Reset Canada. Bianca is also a Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation in the Global Economy program. She worked for several years in the tech sector in operations, infrastructure, corporate training, and product management, most recently at Thomson Reuters. As a facilitator at Swerhun Inc., she designed, delivered and supported public consultation processes for various governments and government agencies. She is a columnist, guest lecturer, and speaker on open government and public sector technology policy.
