Bianca Wylie is the head of the Open Data Institute Toronto – a node of the UK ODI. Previously she has worked in public engagement at Swerhun Inc. and in the technology sector in product management, operations, systems design, and corporate training, most recently at Thomson Reuters. Bianca is also a co-founder of Civic Tech Toronto and a guest lecturer on open data and open government. Through her work at ODI Toronto, Bianca acts as a civic product manager, using civic tech for political engagement and to further open data use in service provision, policy and public decision-making.
Andi Argast is a strategist, writer, and facilitator working in government policy. Andi is the project lead at the Open Data Institute Toronto, a node of the UK-based Open Data Institute. At ODI Toronto, her research and work explores online advocacy, community engagement, and digital literacy, with a focus on how Canadian nonprofit organizations use technology for social change. She previously worked in marketing and communications and holds a Master of Information from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University.
Kejo Buchanan is an information professional with interests in contributing to community through developing leadership, data and analysis skills further than imagined. So investing her time through data management work, completing a graduate degree in Library and Information Science and most importantly the open data movement is well suited for her goals. Invited to join the ODI Toronto team, Kejo is excited to support this node of UK Open Data Institute in areas most needed especially in blogging and training efforts.
